2nd Transition Institute Regional Spin-out Camp: North East (Hull)

The Transition Institute, an independent centre for inquiry and collaboration formed to inspire and facilitate new models of public service delivery, is delighted to invite you to our second Transition Institute Spin-out Camp (North East).
The event is taking place on Thursday the 24th May, 11.00am - 16.00pm at the lovely offices of Health Central in Hull, at 110 Ferensway HU2 8LN, next to the train station.
The programme consists of an interactive, action-packed day of three practical workshops that are being delivered by experts in the field:
- Building a viable Business, led by PwC.
- Innovation in delivery models, led by Lewisham Council.
- Legal issues, led by TPP Law.
In addition to the practical workshops and networking opportunities, after lunch we will be presenting and discussing our third Transition Institute Starting Point Paper on the theme of Transitioning out of the public sector: How to overcome your legal dilemmas. This is your opportunity to gain pertinent information about the legal issues in spinning out and also your chance to contribute to the debates. You will also be provided with a copy of the paper.
TPP Law, a specialist law firm within the field of public service mutuals and spin outs, will be speaking at the event and collaborating with us in developing the final version of the publication.
We will be hosting a focus group at the event (open to all attendees) to capture thoughts and comments on the draft which will be incorporated into the final publication to be released within weeks after the event.
